Output 4 - Price and discount comparator

The price comparator is designed primarily for young farmers, offering a realistic assessment of their market position in an environment characterized by an oligopolistic supply and an oligopsonistic structure of buyers. The tool aims to compare the prices achieved by young farmers with those at the international or national levels, as well as to assess the attainable discounts on used inputs.

Using data from the European Commission, the price comparator presents information in a user-friendly manner. Additionally, the tool incorporates the results of a survey conducted across five countries.
